When the connecting rod rises, the angle between the front toggle plate and the rear toggle plate becomes larger, thereby pushing the movable jaw plate to approach the fixed jaw plate, and at the same time crushing the material. When the connecting rod goes down, the angle between the front toggle plate and the rear toggle plate becomes smaller, and the movable jaw plate leaves the fixed jaw plate under the action of the tension spring. At this time, the crushed material is discharged from the crushing chamber. As the motor rotates continuously, the crusher swings periodically around the fixed mandrel, thereby crushing the material. Its function is to transmit power, which is sometimes greater than the crushing force. The second is to act as a safety part. When the crushing chamber falls into non-crushed materials (such as drill rods and broken shovel teeth), the toggle plate breaks and breaks first, thereby protecting other parts of the machine from damage. The third is to replace toggle plates of different lengths and adjust the size of the discharge port. The adjustment of the discharge port size is mainly for simple swing jaw crushers. Therefore, the toggle plate is both a wearing part and a safety part.
